So any of you study martial arts in the past or are interested? Do you still study it now? How far did/have you gotten?

Anyone ever try the Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū kenpo? It is a martial art otherwise known as "School of Indiscriminate Grappling" or as the title says "anything goes"!

Anyone know what series I am referencing with the above? Yea... I couldn't resist =P

Its the first thing to mind when I think "anything goes".

Well, I practice thai boxing and I'm not very serious. Probably not the sort of "martial art" you were thinking of.

I do mainly Wu Shu Kung Fu, but I practice a more practical style than the acrobatics you might be used to seeing in Wu Shu. I do some Hung Gar and Southern Style as well to mix things up. I'd say Kung Fu in general is my primary martial art.

I also foil fence, though I'm not sure if that counts as martial art or not. Regardless, I love it and I'm really disappointed my university doesn't have a fencing club or team. I'm in Boston for god's sake, there should be a damn fencing school every 2 miles or so! If not for this unfortunate aspect, fencing would be my secondary martial art.

Since my university also doesn't have a Kung Fu club of any kind and I don't trust Boston Kung Fu schools, I'm also taking a bit of kickboxing. I did kickboxing in Kung Fu as well as my tertiary martial art but never got to the level of dedication that I would have wanted. I'm going to give it another shot now that I'm in college.

As you might've guessed, I grew up on Bruce Lee movies and I have quite a strong passion for the martial arts.
