Wait, what?
Hi, I'm Drew8898. Long time front page lurker recently turned forum-goer.
Let's get down to business, shall we:
Anime vs Manga - Manga.
Favorite Anime - To Aru Majutsu no Index.
Favorite Studio - SHAFT.
Favorite Manga - Sasameki Koto.
Favorite Genre - Shoujo.
Favorite Light Novel - Full Metal Panic.
Location - Texas.
Complaint - Too hot.
Occupation - College student.
Cash in Bank Account - $1.50.
Reason - Ex-pirate
Character Flaw - I'm right and you're wrong, but that's more of your flaw than mine.
The fact of the matter - Endless 8 is a beautiful setup for some of the motivations of the character responsible for the plot twist in the Haruhi movie.
That's right, I was serious. Deal with it. That being said, even I wouldn't recommend for others to watch more than parts 1, 5, and 8 of the E8 arc. Part 5 is required viewing, in my opinion. Refer to my character flaw for elaboration.
I think that about sums it up. Looking forward to enlightening you guys on your fallacies from now on.

Welcome to Jtor. I approve.
I also actually agree with your opinion on Endless Eight. I think as far as the concept went, it was pretty damn ballsy and interesting. The idea of the reader first being thrown into it and feeling about as excited as the cast which would then repeat, repeat and repeat, making the viewers about as exhausted and tired of it as the characters was kinda... meta.
But I'm rambling. Again, welcome.

The best parts about each ep was the inevitable scary phone call from Mikuru, and Kyon's reaction to each one. I think my favorite was when he screams into the pillow before answering the phone (I guess it made me laugh becasue I've done it too :) )
And is Index THAT good? I saw like 4 eps of it, and I guess I got bored and stopped. But I loved Railgun, so I have mixed feeelings as to whether I should pick it up again.
And come on, the weather down here hasn't been that bad recently. Nights at around 60 and days around 80-85 makes for some nice weather.

There are better anime out there, I'll admit, but Index has a universe that just infatuates me the most.
Railgun was ruined for me because I got the impression that they slightly altered Koroku's character to make her even more of a sexual predator than she already was. Her actions in the novels and manga didn't seem as off putting than they did in the anime. I actually found them humorous in the novels and manga, where they were cringe-worthy in the anime. That, and I didn't care for the filler. it was okay, but only okay. I couldn't help but compare it to the second plot arc of the manga, which is simply incredible.

I was speaking of my opinion of Texas weather in general. These next few months are my only joys in life as far as temperature goes.

Ah I see. Hmmmm, might have to give it another go then.
And i never read the manga/novels, so I don't really know how creepy Kuroko was portrayed there, but she sure was creepy in Railgun.
Hahaha, yeah, I know what you mean. October thorugh March is pure bliss. April through September is hell on earth.

Well...I had money, but then I lost it due to Black Friday and Christmas shopping.
I have $7.58 in my account, now. Slowly but surely building up funds again.
